Brookside Repertory Theatre principals have written, produced, and directed a number of productions including:

• Holiday Shorts III a collection of poignant, humorous, and serious holiday- themed original short plays by Bay Area playwrights. Mixing plays with traditional Christmas and Chanukah themes and those on alternative and personal celebrations
   
• Franz/KAFKA by Mae Ziglin Meidav.  An exploration of the life of the Austrian writer.
   
• Island Heat by Mae Ziglin Meidav. A two-act stage play of strife, life, love, lust and colonialism on a Caribbean island.  
   
• Check the Box: Merging Voices What would you expect from an Irish-American Lesbian? A Jewish belly dancer-engineer? A sophisticated Midwestern farm twin? A Melting Pot Firebrand from Marin? A Eurasian management consultant? Well, forget what you might think. These five over-40 women playwrights will surprise you with their humor and candor in five short new plays.
