In 2003, Pam's short play, No Borders, No Boundaries, No Boxes, was part of Brookside's award winning collection of short plays, Check the Boxes—Merging Voices, featured in the 2003 San Francisco Fringe Festival. At the festival, Pam also produced Brookside's five short plays which won for Best Collected Shorts. Scenes from her current, full length plays, Change of Heart and Dimpled Knees, were showcased at Will Dunne's New Writers/New Works program. In December 2002, another short play, The Last Christmas was performed as part of Brookside's Holiday Shorts production. In 2001, Pam directed a staged reading of her first play, The Lost Commandment, at The Phoenix Theatre in San Francisco. She is currently developing, Dimpled Knees, a two-act play dramatizing the fleecing of an elderly American couple by a team of highly skilled and charming gypsies in Southern California. Pam holds a BA from UCLA in Political Science/International Relations and an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management. Pam brings the disciplines of finance and marketing to Brookside, and she enjoys integrating both the right and left sides of her brain—in theatre! |
